Transformed- Let's Go!

From the heart of Kristi-

All month long, the Power to Transform Podcast through Living in the Light with Dr. Kristi Lemley will focus on Transformation. Embrace 2022 and be transformed!

When we accept Christ into our heart, He becomes our Savior. He alone forgives all sin and restores our relationship with the Father. Jesus bought us with the price of His life. This is redemption. Oh, what a majestic redemption! There is nothing more precious than the blood of Jesus. We gain entrance into eternity through our faith in Him. Can you picture the streets paved with gold and the vast array of beautiful gemstones on the gates? I love to visualize what heaven looks like.

As the next step in our walk with Jesus, we must elevate Him as Lord. Many Scriptures instruct us to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength (Deuteronomy 6:5; 10:12; Matthew 22:37; Mark 12:30; Luke 10:27). To accomplish this, He must become and remain our first love. This entails dying daily to any wants, needs, and desires of ours that would keep us from grabbing hold of His will and plans for us.

The only way we will go from glory to glory is if we remain in Him. We cannot expect His blessings without keeping Him first on our journey. Have you ever driven for a family vacation and the car was packed with no more room for a single item? For one more bag to fit, you would have to leave something else behind. This is what happens with our spiritual commitments over time. We start with the Lord in our vehicle. There is excitement about the destination. Our energy is high, emotions are positive, and our faith unhindered. Yet as our schedules fill up, life unfolds, and days turn into months we replace Him with carpools, a glass of wine, sleeping in, or technological gadgets.

To know Christ more, we must know the Word. There is no shortcut in this area. Time spent daily in His Word will increase our understanding and knowledge. Meditation and Scripture memorization aids helps get the Word inside us and gives us the potential to walk out His ways.

The Lord desires to reveal Himself to us. He wants to move us from glory to glory. He yearns for His children to invite Him into every area of life. He awaits our surrender to promote us. But most of all, He just wants a real relationship with us. He appeals to each one of us to come as we are. He entreats us to sit with Him and yield to His plan, His ways, and His love. We are not called to be perfect or have everything figured out before we can approach His throne. Far from it! We can live from glory to glory when we allow the Giver of Life, the Prince of Peace, Adonai access to the depths of our souls and allow the Light of the World to shine through us. If we can grasp the truth that “Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world,” (1 John 4:4), then we become unstoppable!

God has graced us with power and authority in the spiritual realm to bring the kingdom of heaven to earth (Matthew 6:10). No weapon formed against us can prosper as we enter the enemy’s camp and take back what he has stolen (Isaiah 54:17).  We do not have time to remain in bondage to our past. The future awaits our obedience now. Decisions we make today will project what lies ahead for us and those around us.

We can live from glory to glory as He transforms us daily into His image. Doing so is all about Him; it always has been and will always be. His transformation in us has never been about merely what we do, but what He desires to do for us and through us. Rise and take your place on the battleground as we stand linked arm and arm. Are you ready? Let us do this!
