Sufficient
From the heart of Nicki Hausman Transformed Women Leadership Team
Overwhelming times we are in, right?
Sometimes life falls in on you like a house of cards and the feeling of inadequacy and insufficiency feels like your home address.
Anyone? We wonder if we are up to the call of God and the tasks set before us.
Yet, we need to look to our source instead of ourselves as Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 3:4-6, "Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God. 5 Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God, 6 who has made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life."
Our Heavenly Father makes us sufficient for life. He gives us an eternal supply of power in the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is life, strength, wisdom, and truth. He is our guide and comforter. He cannot be contained or seen but is everywhere and not limited by time, space, or natural laws. Neither is He limited by our capacities or lack there of. But we choose to walk with Him, talk with Him, and listen to His guidance.
I want to encourage you today to seek Him through worship and the Word. Pray that His Kingdom come and His will be done in your life day. He makes you sufficient. Repeat this everyday for His strength and sufficiency.
